With its 9 hectares under cultivation, the Bischöfliche Weingut Rüdesheim is considered as a small but fine wine manufacturer, its origins dating back to the 11th century. The vineyards are found in Assmannshausen, in the world-famous steep slopes of Rüdesheim Berg (Berg Schlossberg, Berg Roseneck and Berg Rottland), Johannisberg and Geisenheim.

Since 2007, Peter Perabo is our cellar master and estate manager in charge. Our priority is the production of the very best quality. After harvest which is done completely by hand, the wines are left to mature in historic vaulted cellars. The result is salty and mineral Riesling wines as well as elegant, complex and profound Pinot Noirs.

The high quality standard of the wine estate is well known beyond the boundaries of the Rheingau and achieves high awards and critics year after year.
