ALCOHOL FREE WINES AND SPARKLING WINES SINCE 1908

The Rüdesheim wine estate was founded in 1868 and can look back on 150 years of family-run business. Already in 1908 Dr. Carl Jung developed a method of gentle alcohol extraction: the so-called vacuum extraction method.

This is a patented method whereby the pure alcohol is gently extracted in a vacuum from carefully selected wines at temperatures under 30 degrees Celsius. Wine aromas released by this process are captured and added back to the alcohol free wine. This ensures that taste, aroma and character of the wine are almost unaltered.

Alcohol free wines are ideal for the connoisseur who would like to abstain from alcohol but still want to enjoy a glass of wine. Also good to know: by extracting the alcohol, the calorie content is reduced by two third.

 

More than „just alcohol free wines“

Apart from selected blends, the wines Estate Carl Jung is known for single grape variety wines without alcohol, such as Riesling, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon. Merlot or Shiraz. Alcohol free sparklings are also part of the portfolio of the traditional wine estate from Rüdesheim am Rhein.

About 30 employees currently produce more than 10 million bottles annually for the German market and for more than 30 countries worldwide.
