WINES THAT ARE ANYTHING ELSE BUT TAME

The towering terraces of the Middle Rhine valley have been shaping the landscape for thousands of years. In the town of Kaub which is situated right in the middle of this “world-cultural” landscape, the family wine estate “Am Löwenkopf” cultivates wine on 4 hectares. Vineyards are terraced, south-facing, steep slopes down the Rhine Valley.

Grape varieties are Riesling and Spätburgunder with distinct aroma structures.  Yield is traditionally reduced and wine farming is environmentally friendly. Individual and intensive care results in excellent quality – it is only a natural consequence that the wine estate is a member of the MittelrheinRiesling Charta.

Guests are welcome in the family run cosy wine bistro “Däuwel´s Küch”.
