WINE IS OUR DISCIPLINE ...
We go out of our way for the creation of our unique wines, all work necessary is done ensuring the highest quality of the harvested grape. All grapes are preselected by hand and work in the vineyard is organic. Since 1999, our wine and sparkling wine estate is a member of the VDP (Association of German Predicate Wine Estate).
Our wine estate is embedded in the impressive landscape of the Rheingau, surrounded by premier and grand cru sites. Our vines are up to 50 years old – in their prime. The soils differ in composition and density. Dense clay renders wines full of body and extract. Phyllite and sericite gneiss means a racy minerality for Rieslings and the deep loamy clay yields fine fruit. Long-lasting and impressive wines!

Our sparkling wines are manufactured from the best vineyard sites. Grapes undergo gentle processing. The final touch is bottle fermentation, rendering the sparkling wine its very own character. We are the first VDP wine estate (member of the Association of German Predicate Wine Estates) to market a sparkling wine in VDP.GROSSES GEWÄCHS (grand cru) quality.
